Understanding the software interface and terminology enhances your ability to create powerful models and move around in the various views of the model.

The BIM process supports the ability to coordinate, update, and share design data with team members across disciplines. It enables you to create complete 3D building models as shown on the left in Figure that provide considerable information reported through construction documents, and enables you to share these models with other programs for more extensive analysis.

For example, if you add an element in a plan view, it also displays in all of the other views. All views, such as plans as shown on the right in Figure , elevations, sections, details, construction documents, and reports are generated based on the model.

Sometimes, a separate 3D model is created in addition to these documents. Changes made in one document, such as the addition of a light fixture in a plan, have to be coordinated with the rest of the documents and schedules in the set, as shown in Figure In BIM, the design process revolves around the model, as shown in Figure Plans, elevations, and sections are simply 2D versions of the 3D model, while and schedules are a report of the information stored in the model.

Changes made in one view automatically update in all views and related schedules. Even Construction Documents update automatically with callout tags in sync with the sheet numbers. This is called bidirectional associativity. By creating complete models and associated views of those models, the Autodesk Revit software takes much of the tediousness out of producing a building design.

Views and reports display information about the elements that form a project. There are three types of elements: Model, Datum, and View-specific, as shown in Figure and described below: -V Elevation 0. For example, you can view and work in floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and 3D views. You can change a design from any view.

All views are stored in the project Reports Reports, including schedules, gather information from the building model element that can be presented in the construction documents or used for analysis.

Model Elements Include all parts of a building such as walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, doors, windows, p umbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, mechanical equipment, columns, beams, furniture, plants and many more. Datum Elements Define the project context such as the levels for the floors and other vertical distances, column grids, and reference planes.

View-specific Elements Only display in the view in which they are placed. The view scale controls their size. These include annotation elements such as dimensions, text, tags, and symbols as well as detail elements such as detail lines, filled regions, and 2D detail components. This means that the information stored in their properties automatically updates in schedules, which ensures that views and reports are coordinated across an entire project, and are generated from a single model.

Revit and Construction Documents D O In the traditional workflow, the most time-consuming part of the project is the construction documents.

In this course, delegates will learn the difference between the simulator and emulator. They will also acquire knowledge of GNS3 supported operating systems, hardware requirements and its installation.

In addition, delegates will learn how to update GNS3 to its latest version and how to export and import GNS3 projects. Delegates will learn about how to configure routers and switches within the Cisco commands. This course is designed for IT professionals who want to create, design, and configure a network for personal and organisation. It is used in network certifications training that allows delegates to create networks with an almost unlimited number of devices to experience troubleshooting without buying real Cisco routers or switches.

The tool is created by Cisco Systems. The aim of packet tracer is to offer delegates a tool to learn the principles of networking and develop Cisco technology-specific skills. However, it is not used as a replacement for routers or switches. In this 1-day training, delegates will get a complete and accurate understanding of Cisco Packet Tracer Simulator Software and its essential features.

Delegates will learn about the packet tracer software interface and learn how to customise network devices with modules. Delegates will also get an understanding of how to configure routers and switches. Along with this, delegates will learn about different connectors, configure network topologies and learn how to create a wireless network and demonstrate their range.

During this course, delegates will learn how to assign IPv6 addresses to network and end devices and acquire other techniques to the deployment of any network in an organisation. In addition, delegates will also acquire skills to analyse broadcasts in simulation mode. After attending this course, delegates will be able to create, design, configure and deploy the network for any organisation.

This course explains CCNA cloud fundamentals. In this course, delegates will gain an understanding of what is in the cloud and service model of the cloud. This course is designed to equip delegates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform tasks related to cloud computing.

This course describes and compares cloud deployment models: public cloud, private cloud, community and hybrid cloud and Cisco intercloud. In this course, delegates will gain an understanding of server virtualisation and infrastructure virtualisation.

Server virtualisation means masking of resources that are located in the server, which include the number and identity of processors, physical servers, and the OS. They will also learn about virtual networking services and application containers.

They will also learn about unified computing, Cisco cloud portfolio and integrated infrastructure. Speak to a training expert for advice if you are unsure of what course is right for you. The course was well structured and the delivery very good. The pace would not suit everybody but was necessary to cover the course content fully. More supporting documentation would have been useful especially with regard to the test configuration examples that were worked through with the tutor which were quite difficult to keep up with and necessitated a lot of screen captures to refer back to alongside my copious notes.

Course was run really well. The instructor was knowledgeable in the area of training, so any questions I had could be answered and he also included some real world scenarios to help with understanding.
